Bebop 2.0 Plans & Price — Understanding Credits and How They Work
Bebop 2.0 uses a credit-based system instead of a fixed number of searches per month. You now have a monthly credit allowance that you spend across everything you do in Bebop — searches, playbooks, emails, and other actions.
Credits are Bebop's way of measuring AI compute. Every action you take in Bebop — running a search, generating a playbook, drafting an outreach email — uses a certain number of credits depending on how much work the AI needs to do.
A few important things to know:
- Credit costs vary by task — a complex search with deep enrichment costs more than a quick lookup. The AI decides in real time how much work a task needs
- Typical actions cost between 50-500 credits, depending on complexity
- Credits do not roll over — unused credits reset at the start of each billing month
- You always see your remaining credits in the app — no surprises, no hidden usage

What is the Per-Search Cap?
Every plan includes a per-search safety cap. This is the maximum amount of credits a single search can consume — so one complex or runaway search can never wipe out your entire monthly allowance.
- Bebop Starter — $3 per search
- Bebop Pro — $4 per search
- Bebop Elite — $5 per search
What Happens When You Run Out of Credits?
You are never cut off mid-task. If you hit your monthly credit limit, Bebop automatically switches you to a lighter version of the AI so you can keep working. You won't lose your session or your results — you'll just be running on a reduced model until your credits reset at the start of your next billing period.
You can also navigate to the Settings>Billing page in Bebop and upgrade to the next tier to access additional credits.
Estimated Cost Before You Run
Before every search, Bebop shows you an estimated credit cost and time upfront — so you always know what you're committing to before you hit run. No guessing, no unexpected usage.

Where to See Your Credits
Your remaining credit balance is always visible inside the app. You can check it anytime in your account settings — you'll see credits remaining, not dollar amounts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do unused credits roll over to the next month?
No — credits reset at the start of each billing month. We recommend using your credits consistently throughout the month to get the most out of your plan.
Can I see how many credits a search will use before I run it?
Yes — Bebop shows you an estimated cost and time before every search so you can decide whether to proceed.
What counts as a credit-consuming action?
Searches, playbook generation, outreach email generation, and other AI agent actions all use credits. The exact amount depends on the complexity of the task.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan mid-month?
Yes. If you upgrade mid-month, the credit difference is added on top of your current balance immediately. See How to Upgrade or Change Your Bebop Plan for details.
What happens if I need more credits than my plan includes?
We recommend upgrading to the next plan tier. If you're consistently hitting your limit, book a support session and we can help figure out the right plan for your usage.
